Civil
Service is the most reputed job in India since from the independence. A large
number of aspirants participate every year in the civil services examination
from various fields. According to a survey carried out by industry chamber, ASSOCHAM,
the reasons of the popularity of civil services exams are that the IAS provides visible and
invisible perks, social status and benefits with 100% job security, which
remain totally incompatible with private sector counterparts. It is the only
job where one can get a good salary, a chance to work for country and the
respect from everyone. Almost every student in a Indian home grown up with a
dream of becoming an IAS or IPS. Participation of college going students
in Civil Services Examination is a normal thing because this is the time
everyone is looking to set his or her career. For this Civil Services
Examination is always a first choice. Everyone wants to be best, earn more
money and respect and in Civil Services, one gets all these things. Apart from college
students, lot of businessmen are also attracting towards and shifting their
interest into Civil Services. A
businessman may have large amount of money but he cannot stop a Rajdhani
Express on the station he wants without paying bribe in the worst case. On the
other hand, a District Magistrate who is a Civil Servant needs to pass an order
to stop the same on the station of his choice. The fact is that both
businessman and civil servant contributing in development of nation but a civil
servant enjoys some extra powers given to him by the Government. These things
make the Civil Services first choice for the people belongs to any field. At
present, aspirants from engineering background, medical background, and even
businessmen like Ajay Katesaria participated in the
